Roolo Book Giveaway

Written by Ed | 26th Mar, 2015

Roolo.io is giving away four copies of our favourite new book "The Age of CryptoCurrency: How Bitcoin and Digital Money are Challenging the Global Econmic Order". The authors Paul Vinga and Michael J. Casey also write a regular Bitcoin column for the Wall Street Journal, BitBeat. One copy each will be up for grabs on Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and LinkedIn

The first Chapter, appropriately titled 'Babylon to Bitcoin' slots Bitcoin into the worlds monetary history. There are some intriguing parallels drawn between the political and economic climates that precipitated the creation of Bitcoin in 2008 and those that motivated the banking innovation in Renaissance Italy, that resulted amongst other things in the creation of the credit system. Without giving to much away, the remainder of the book is filled with some of the great stories surrounding Bitcoins genesis, evolution and future prospects, all wonderfully written and pieced togther by Vinga & Casey. Eswar Prasad, author of The Dollar Trap called it “Engaging, lucid and thought provoking” and went on to suggest “I can think of no better guide to what the future holds”. In short if your not lucky enough to win one of the four copy Roolo is giving away, we’d highly recommend getting yourself a copy.
