Roolo is pleased to announce that Robin Hill a leading localbitcoins trader has joined as Head of Trading.

Robin is a well known UK based p2p bitcoin trader who is very active in the p2p community and is an outspoken advocate for p2p traders.

Anthony Culligan, CEO of Roolo, said

"We are extremely excited to have Robin on board and think that his joining Roolo will allow us to communicate more effectively with our core client base."

Robin’s role at Roolo will be to tell us, without any sugar coating, what we need to do to serve the p2p traders in the UK. He will continue to be active in the market in his own right and will continue to trade across all platforms. He will let us know what the community needs - whether that be technical, organisational or presentational - and to promote our achievements in delivering to those needs.

Robin recently gave a presentation of his experiences at the Bitcoin in the City program promoted by Roolo. At that presentation he gave city traders an insight into the world of crypto currency trading at the leading edge. He recounted that he first became involved in bitcoin trading in 2013. His keen eye for an opportunity lead him to explore intra market trading. Robin put his success down to measured trial and error.

“Nothing is riskless”, he mused, “but it often requires the trial to find the error. Overall it has been profitable and fulfilling experience trading bitcoins and other crypto assets and I am excited about how the market in developing.”

On his new role, Robin says

“I am particularly excited to be on the Roolo team. The platform is technically great and all the people at Roolo are committed to making it the best experience for p2p traders here in the UK and abroad. I look forward to helping to shape the platform for the benefit of all traders - many of whom I know are looking for the next step up in functionality, usability and security.”

Robin will be taking up his role with immediate effect.
